CHEMICAL ANALYST REQUIRED
An innovative graduate chemist, preferably with experience of manufacturing industry, is required to run a small quality control analytical laboratory servicing the needs of Amplefuel at its pioneering medium-sized biodiesel production plant in Doncaster. The applicant should have several years of practical analytical experience, and be proficient in gas liquid chromatography and wet chemistry methods. Initially, he or she will be the only analyst on site, but will be joined by assistants as the business expands. The applicant must be capable of driving the laboratory towards accreditation and be flexible to the needs of the business. Analytical procedures, written methods and safety procedures are available, but the chemist must be capable of improving upon them and keeping abreast of new legislation.
